Terms of service
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms cover your use of Foldout, which generates social media carousels for LinkedIn and Instagram from content you provide.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to that Google account secure.
One person, one account. Sharing an account between people is not permitted.
Credits
Generation is metered in credits. One credit is one generated slide. Credits are reserved when you start a generation and released when it finishes — you are charged only for slides actually delivered.
If a generation fails, the reservation is returned in full and you are not charged.
Monthly credits included with a plan roll over for one month, capped at one month's allowance. Credits bought as a top-up remain valid for twelve months.
Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you paste in and everything generated from it. You are free to publish the results commercially.
You are responsible for having the right to use the material you supply, and for checking generated output before you publish it.
Generated output
Output is produced by automated systems and can contain errors. Verify facts, figures, names and links before publishing. We do not warrant that output is accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
Similar prompts may produce similar results for different customers. We do not guarantee that output is unique.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to produce content that is unlawful, that impersonates a real person or organisation, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Do not attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits or queue limits, or to access another customer's data.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is. We may change features, tiers or credit allowances, and will give reasonable notice of changes that reduce what a paid plan includes.
We may suspend an account that is abusing the service or that has unpaid charges.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.
